The Musical Director, Mark Bradley, enhances his reputation for excellence once again by both the vocal preparation and his band leadership.
Mark Bradley is a Pianist, Keyboard Player, Music Director and Teacher with many years of experience.
Mark began playing the piano at age 7 and age 18, under his teacher Margaret Seagrave, completed his Diploma in Performance Piano from the New Zealand Music Education Board.
Wicked in Auckland was Mark's first international touring production as a keyboard player in the orchestra. Since then his other credits include West Side Story, School Of Rock, Aladdin and Book Of Mormon.
Locally, Mark has also been involved in large productions both as a keyboard player and Music Director. These include We Will Rock You, Evita, Phantom of the Opera, Sister Act, Mamma Mia and City of 100 Lovers.
As an educator, Mark has been involved with a number of organisations as well as his own private teaching. For 10 years, he has been a private piano teacher from his own studio and various schools in Auckland as well as providing vocal coaching and audition preparation for musical theatre performers.
Youth Theatre is also a passion of Mark's. He is currently the Music Director for the Auckland Academy of Performing Arts and has been the Music Director for youth productions at Saint Kentigern College, ACG Parnell, St Cuthbert's College and North Shore Music Theatre. Mark has also worked with the Broadway Dreams Foundation NZ, National Youth Theatre Company as a Music Director and Vocal Coach for their week-long educational training programmes
In 2021, Mark will be partnering with Emma Bishop at StageAntics to offer week-long Musical Theatre holiday programmes throughout New Zealand and monthly Musical Theatre workshops Auckland for young performers. For more information please visit StageAntics.nz.
